April 1, 2015, New York, New York – Louis Ginsberg Law Offices is pleased to announce a $1,500,000.00 Settlement in a wage and hour class action on the behalf of approximately 204 current and former hourly employees of DHL who worked at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, Miami International Airport in Florida, and Los Angeles International Airport in California. Plaintiffs alleged that the Defendant (a) allegedly configured time clocks to round down the amount of time employees were credited with performing work; (b) allegedly automatically deducted 30 minutes for meal breaks even though employees allegedly worked during those breaks; and (c) allegedly requested that employees perform off-the-clock work prior to clocking in and after clocking out. The Honorable Judge Raymond J. Dearie of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York granted Plaintiffs’ Motion for Preliminary Approval of the Settlement.
